Too bad Toyota (or GM/Ford/Chrysler) isn't building electric motors for electric cars. With Americas abundance of natural gas and the availability of solar and wind power, we could easily produce enough electricity to power every car in the United States, without using hardly gasoline/diesel. Instead, we send our sons to West Asia to fight Muslim's in a "holy war" for the black gold that oil companies have America addicted to. Addicted like a meth junkie prostitute... selling her body for dope to slowly kill herself off... America is slowly killing herself off like a meth junkie protitute...

Electric cars would have to improve significantly to accomplish this, but you DO make a good point.

You bunch of smug hippies are ruining America. Cars were meant to have V-8 engines. They ought to be even bigger! V-16 is more like it. Only whimps drive sewing machines.
