Servco has arrogantly rested on its Toyota franchises for years believing that they can mistreat Hawaii customers because they will have to buy their cars there anyway.

The Lexus dealership over the last 3 or 4 years has become pathetic! When Lexus was first introduced it was a delight to buy, no trickery or game playing, recently I tried to lease one, and it became a nightmare! Utilizing a mainland bank, they had increased interest rates and the purchase option had been inflated in order to lower the payment, they stated they had quit dealing with local banks. They low balled me on my Lexus trade-in and said it was worth over $2000 less than I eventually received from an independent broker. Their own product, they said was worth less than market!

After checking around I found a much better deal through Bank of Hawaii Leasing and a local broker who obtained my new hybrid from outside Hawaii.

When you mistreat you get what you deserve, it all comes around in time.

Shop around, Servco is not the only dealer that sells Toyota's either, Maui (on the Superferry) and the Big Island also have Hawaii Toyota dealerships.

they abuse our plantation metality --- folks feel like they shouldn't question authority or make problems --- so they stick it to them

good riddance to Toyota --- and that greedy Boyds gaming company that grubs money from our retirees can go too

we are entering a new era --- old school rip offs need to head for the door

Wow, layoffs after spending millions to rebuild their Mapunapuna and Waipahu dealerships.
I would like to extend my sincere mahalos to Servco for making it impossible 2 years ago to buy a Camry.
The run around for 2 months was enough to walk into the Tony Group and buy a car immediately.
Terrific car couldn't be happier. Aloha Servco!

They said Servco is one of the best places to work for. Now lets see what the employees say. They are too top heavy (Management)And has a lot of favoritism to their special employees. Batchy to them.

what goes around comes around....arrogance and favortism....fukunaga should be ashamed, why not reinvest in their companies, than participating in 'Angel Networks' for outside ventures?

With every dealership down and lay offs aplenty will the DMV lessen it's work force too. Of course not!!!!!!!!!!
Govermnet workers-awue!!!!!!!!!! no handle on reality. The Gov says cut so they cut programs but never staff
Unions/State Goverment holding hands and fiddeling while Honolulu tax coffers burn.
Look at the private sector and LEARN not burn.

Good points. Unlike his dad George, Mark has not diversified and planted new seeds. Rather down sizing over the past 18 years.
The automotive group has been the goose that lays the golden egg. No more.
The politics in Servco is renowned by many.
Top heavy is an under statement.

Servco only charged my wife $110 to tell her she had a 10-cent blown fuse on her lighter. I guess she should have known the lighter controls the door locks.

Servco is a bully of a auto dealership. Their take it or leave it attitude should be enough for the local people to demand better. Forcing people to pay the inflated MSRP and claim fair, no haggle pricing is embarrassing. The no haggle is them no listening to any counter offers. They claim to not be making mony on their car sales but have just renovated two dealerships. I wish nothing but continued decline for Servco in Hawaii. The lack of competition is making them lazy and drunk with power. This is not good for Hawaii.
