Question.....
Is your dislike for all things Toyota so dire that you feel you must resort to falsifying and embellishing news releases about them?
Here's what you're saying in the title of this piece: "Toyota announced Thursday that it's having trouble building a decent transmission. Therefore, Toyota now offers zero percent financing to help push cars with bad transmissions"
That's an outright lie.
Why is it necessary to point to Toyota as offering incentives, when literally every other automaker has done so in the past, and continues to do so now even more aggessively.
Zero point financing, employee pricing, cash incentives, etc. have been out there for the past 2 years!!
Some things you fail to mention about other automakers is much more dire---take GM for instance--they're closing over 450 dealerships in the US and Canada! Ford is one step from chapter 11! Chrysler is in the same boat--almost broke!! All the domestic automakers are screaming for cash from government to stay alive.....yada, yada, yada.
Why haven't you given equal time to all automakers???
Christ, if we lose the big three and Toyota, Honda etc. too, what then?

My guess will be People will still buy those Toyota with so called "bad transmission" than a new GM.
Toyota offering zero percent financing will help move those cars pretty quickly.

Yes, they have to find a way to move the steel. Zero % financing will help out a lot.

Just because Toyota has some transmission problems, doesn’t mean they aren’t going to move em out.

0% financing,$10K off MSRP and a hand job is a monthly GM tactic.
You're right though, the fact that Toyota offers 0% financing is big news because they rarely have to beg people to buy their products, unlike GM and the other "little 2"

Tough times for all, but this hurts the "little 3" much, much more than Toyota.

Google 07 camry transmission problems!
I owned one of the 07 camrys traded it back in 10 days after buying it at down east toyota in brewer maine and lost 7000.00 because of a problem with no fix.
At time I was told by kevin kelly GM at det that he was not aware of any problem and or complaint with this dangerous hesitation downshifting problem. He then told me I never gave them a chance to fix problem. when I said toyota told me there is a problem and that at the time the first tsb fail to fix problem. kevin told me toyota would never tell me that and he did not hold a gun to my head to buy the camry or to trade it back in, and nothing you can do about the money loss.
If no problem not known by kevin kelly at time why would he tell me I never gave them a chance to fix problem??
I purchased the camry on saturday june 2nd by monday june 4th called det service dept complained of problem and was told to drive for a week so car could learn driving habits. I did no change in car I called back june 11th complained of problem again and this time was told that problem at this time normal, but not to worry because like the 07 v6 camry they had to pull all off lot for transmission problems when and if toyota comes up with a fix they will let me know.
Now this dangerous problem has atleast three more tsb's for this problem that becomes normal when the four tsb's fail to fix this normal problem????

The only thing I'm defending is truth.
The guy lied.
Just like you do, also "Camry Junk", "Johnny", and "Clown Victoria".
When anyone stoops to lying like you folks do, that says a lot about their character.
Your character (or lack of) has spoken.

Are we dealing with another bigoted redneck here????

A feeble attempt to intimidate perhaps???

When all else fails, he resorts to name calling and intimidation.

Well, you just failed---miserably.
All you've done is demonstrate a lack of integrity and character.

Whazzup---are you just incapable of any form of intellectual discussion?

I don't think that's quite correct.
I believe its fair to say some folks say they've had problems (surging, hesitation), but "failure"....not so.
However, when it comes to "failure", your agenda seems to meet that criteria pretty closely.

Daily Horoscope for December 4

Sagittarius

You're in a sensitive mood today, so you need to choose the company you keep very carefully. Resist the urge to believe only what you want to believe and to disregard the rest, even if something is so obvious that it's staring you in the face. Do not bury your head in the sand or avoid anything unpleasant, because you'll have to face it sooner or later. The more you resist doing this now, the more difficult things may be further down the line.
