Oh please..give it a rest. How about FORDs triton spark plug popers? Does Toy or Lexus spit out spark plugs? Does Toy or Lexus have cruise control modules that catch fire because they can be compromised by the live 12volts that are constantly applied and when brake fluid contacts them they create a short and thus a fire. Better not have your FORD in your garage else you house may burn down. I wonder who does they "STUDIES" as a auto tech for 40 years there too much BS in this industry that is too self promoting and is designed to sway the ones who really believe just because a "Study" says so. GM, Ford and Mopar have a LONG ways to go when it comes to QA. I am glad they are improving but they are still very distant compared to Toyota.

Obama,

I still have my 91 corolla outside of my garage with basic maintenance with 187,3xx miles. Only replaced tires, front brakes and all dashboard lights as far i can remember. I would have replaced almost the whole car if i bought a Ford or GM almost 20 years back. Today's Toyota may be worse but that's because they are hiring the same people who made low quality ford and gm when they shutting down their plants. It 's not which brand but who made it.

I also have 120,xxx miles 96 4runner and a brand new Sienna.

You will still find older fords but you have to look for one in the junkyard.

If Fords are so great, it wouldn't be what they are today, Go buy their stocks if you wanna bet against me coz i have toyota stocks.

Wow that is great for you, but I know a guy that has two Fords, one is a LTD and the other is a F-150 both have over 400,000 miles and I have not talked to the guy in a few years, so these cars could have well over 500K by now. So you can save you Toyota stories for you grandchildren. But I do feel sorry for you, it must suck to have to drive a 20 year old hunk of sh!t. I might have to give you a lesson on the stock market..

Strategic Vision is client supported, not an independant organization, so it shouldnt be any surprise when their current client comes out on top despite other independant polls that disagree or car sales which show what the buyers spend their money on.

I know someone who does customer service. Those so-called surveys that are sent out to the buyers are a bunch of nonsense. Don't believe everything you read especially when its the auto industry behind those surveys.

So go ahead and buy American. Buy them Fords. Buy those Mazdas (Focus,Fusions, Edge, etc...)not to mention the S40 Volvo. They are great cars! The drive train are from, you know where! Its a world market, just what Ford cars are the high quality cars? Hopefully Ford sees the light and makes some good NGV compact and midsized cars. Only Honda has the private market right now. What? Pay $5/gallon for gasoline or $1.47/gallon for NGV?
