Everybody thinks I'm nuts when I tell them "dog is my co-pilot" was intended as a blaspheme against GOD. The naive, dog owning public, thinks this is a cute, and humorous play on words. Most don't even get that it's GOD spelled backwards.

I had to scroll down at least 200 entries after typing "dog is my co-pilot" into a Google search.

I guess I'm just glad that I found your comment at all.

All I can say is "WE'RE DOOMED"! And it couldn't come soon enough for me.

I have a sweat shirt with "DOG IS MY CO-PILOT" embalzoned on the chest. I was aware when I bought it that the slogan could be construed as blasphemous. Nevertheless, out of love and appreciation for what dogs have given me over my 63 years, I bought the shirt and wear it often. I hope the slogan will be interpreted as a tribute to the innocence, loyalty, and unconditional love offered by dogs, rather than as a thinly veiled insult to people of faith.
