Four years ago I purchased a 1990 Talladega Red SPG from the original owner for the amazing price of just $2,500.00. Fortunately for me, I was the first to contact the seller before the onslaught of bids nationwide for twice that amount. To the seller's credit he stuck with the deal even though he could have made a lot more money on the sale.
The car has been nothing short of spectacular. First-rate performance, thrifty fuel economy and great in the snow. The thing probably tops out above 135 mph, even with nearly 200,000 miles on her. Rock steady at 120 mph and eats up corners for lunch. Love the pull of that turbo.
Great all-round sportscar.
