Yeah, right, Glen Beck, GM's mismanagement is the fault of the Democrats, not your hero (zero) who occupied the White House for the previous eight years, with a Republican Congres for six years. Your comments are as ignorant as I've ever read. SAAB is going under because of GM's mismanagement and those of us who are educated, SAAB loyalists, are feeling the pain of the 'free marketplace". keep watching Fox news, ignoramus, they say exactly what you want to hear.

I never understood how Saab existed into the 80's, much less 2010. Expensive, ordinary specs, and the world's stodgiest styling.
Drive one and you will understand--It gets into your blood..What other car company could have 5000 cars in world wide support convoys by regular people who just want GM to sell the brand to one of two very interested suiters..

It looks like the Spyker deal will happen, but it will be difficult to re-create Saab after GM gutted it. Screw GM.

I say save Saab and let GM die. They'll surely be gone in 10 years anyway.

Saab is now owned by Spyker. Thank god. Now the question is whether Skyker can undo the damage done by GM's management over the last 20 years, and recreate Saab to what it used to be before GM got hold of it.

Saab should have become Subaru's luxury branch instead of letting GM work its fecal Midas touch on them
