I need to roll the Phantom onto a convention floor. I don't have a manual. Where do you put the key?

It would depend on the precise model/date of the Phantom as the various Marks have been in manufacture since before the First World War!

Many of the earlier auto boxes didn't have a true Park as the parking pawl in the gearbox was engaged/disengaged by turning the ignition key on or off. As to the location of the ignition switch it would most likely be near the centre of the dashboard on the earliest cars, otherwise it could be almost anywhere as it was often down to the whims of the coachbuilders who designed and made the bodywork.

Jan, not only are you an authority on all things Rolls-Royce, but you are also a genius to be able to come up with such a detailed informative reply to a question posed with so very little initial information to work with in the first instance. I salute you.
