shadow does not start after its hot

HI ALLY BAD STARTING WHEN HOT IS NORMALLY DUE TO A RICH MIXTURE, TURNING THE NEEDLE adjuster CLOCKWISE WILL RITCH THE MIXTURE AND VISA/VERSA BEST USE A C/O MACHINE IF YOU WANT TO GET IT RIGHT

The symptoms could just as easily be caused by over-enrichment due to a faulty 'choke' butterfly. It can easily be checked for full opening by loosening the the large butterfly clip and removing the pipe just in front of it.
