1985 Silver Spur LWB Was Mulliner Park Ward Involved?

I am thinking about buying a Silver Spur having sold my 71 Shadow. The Spurs are the LWB version of the Spirit, but was the coachwork done by Park Ward, or was it a regular production assembly job along with the Spirits? Thanks, Brandon

After the introduction of monocoque construction with the first Silver Shadows virtually all Rolls have left the factory as complete cars. TTBOMK only a few of the later Phantoms were re-bodied by coach builders. All that's left for them to do these days is to perhaps turn them into convertibles or refit/redesign the interiors. Although the factory would build a car to a customer's specifications later owners may become dissatisfied with them and take it to be altered to suit their preferences or just refurbished to return a worn interior to its original condition.
