The Subject says it all!!
I am on the hunt for a window motor for a 1971 Silver Shadow. If you know anyone with a Rolls that wants to sell some parts please let me know.
Thanks
Jessica

I can't help you by supplying one or even saying where one might be found, but you need to compare the motors and/or vehicle VINs as there are several motor types which aren't interchangeable.
New prices in the UK can vary from GBP70 (about USD120) to GBP 350 (about USD525) plus S&H depending on the precise model fitted. Check out FlyingSpares.com for more info.

My VIN is SRX9459
Motor is 6.8L V8 3spd
Hopefully someone out there is ready to part out their car so others can live on.

The base model motor number is UD11391, which is the most expensive. Visually almost identical motors with the same number, but with the suffix SXU or SXR can be one third or two thirds the price respectively.

Your best bet is to search online or in any phone book for auto wreckers, parts recyclers, car salvagers, etc. As long as you know the precise part number at least one in the whole of Canada should be able to supply a used motor to fit your car.

Thanks for the part number Jan. I have tried every wrecking yard, salvage yard, google, my parts suppliers and many other options. I have yet to find an affordable solution. A local (within Canada) has the motor but it is 1300 Canadian dollars and honestly I have to find something much much cheaper!

Once you know the presise part number - especially the suffix - you should be able to get the correct motor from any of the following:

http://www.flyingspares.com/
http://www.roberts-hall.co.uk/
http://www.introcar.co.uk/

Sorry, but I don't know if the motors are interchangeable.

With luck one of the several UK car breakers may also have one. Just use google for UK Rolls Royce or Bentley car breakers. The same motors are used in the Bentely T1.
