Received 3 sms from the promotors Westland Near Safari com building in the Industrial Area Nairobi that I am the winner of a Landcruiser VX and that I have to pay an amount into a Money Order with an ID and Box number so for the flight charge to load the cruiser on the air cargo. They wont give me an website address and they wont give me the companies name to deposit the money into only to deposit the amount into their lady Cahsier's name. They said there is a great deal of scam and that I must be very careful to tell anybody else.

Hi,i received the same message too from [phone]. I heard a man with a very poor english and i told him my lawyers will call him-what's this all about? Do we have ppl staying in Kenya who can lead us into finding out if this is a scam or true.

I will on the other hand consult my network and Telecom Kenya to find out if this number belongs to crooks or real competition.

If this is in deed a competition, there shouldn't be money requests involved-they shuld deliver the damn car.

So cynical, I doubt its a scam, probably just need the money to cut through the red tape. I wouldn't sit back on my heels on this one, early bird gets the worm.

I also received one cms saying that I won a " Toyota Land Cruser form Toyota Kenya". Once I spoke to given numbe he wanted me to pay 1000 USD for shipping charges. But I asked him web site or any other details . But so far nothing.

I did this twice and I regret the day, every day, when I get the same Bee Ess SMS message from the same two f*(kwads!

Hi. Like all the above, i received an sms stating that i won a toyota landcruiser, and to phone the number, 00254714582267, to follow further steps. I called and spoke to Patrick Ambani, requesting my full name, Identity Number, Physical address and nearest international airport. i felt there no harm in doing so and forwarded the details. when i called back he says i must deposit R2000.00 in their bank account and will forward the information to me. i think this is a scam. be careful.

I also recieved the sms claiming i won a landcruiser. I phoned the number and spoke to a man who said i should sms my name, id number, address and name of the nearest international airport... No money requests as of yet. I really hope this is the real deal, it would be a blessing of note!! Some answers or at least conformation of my details sms would really help. I hate not being sure of something. I hate being taken, even more..
