Know that it is with EGR system, vent solenoid most likely, but having trouble fueling the car as well (wants to kick pump off unless fueled extremely slowly) so it could be problem with filler neck. Wondering if anyone has experienced same problem and can save me a lot of time getting to the root of the problem. Car is my son's Grand Prix SE 3.1/year 2000.

Haven't yet! Took the filler neck off and all seemed OK. Will probably bite the bullet and replace the vent solenoid.
Good luck. |
