"Cash for Clunkers!" would be a good idea if Wanted Posters for democrat politicians were still in vogue.

Why boost production? Just a few months ago dealers and manufacturers were whining about having too much inventory.

When Cash4Clunkers goes away, sales will return to those lower levels and they will once again be whining about having too much inventory.

We have been blessed with a car salesman as president.

And this president owns the car company.

The president can and will keep HIS car company very busy no matter what it takes.

IF sales slow down again after the clunker program is stopped our president WILL just give away MORE of our tax "Revenue" to keep HIS car company going strong.

We just need to get him to own ALL companies in the USA and WALLA, we got a bonified ECONOMIC RECOVERY!!!

Really were screwed!

Thanks Dumbocratic voters...

There's another thread here that talks about how dealers can't get reimbursed by the government for the clunkers they're taking in. Looks like their extra inventory's going to be taking up storage space.

Daily Horoscope for December 28

Virgo

If the past few days have been a blur of cooking, washing up and wrapping paper, take a break today and catch up with loved ones. Have a long talk with one of them so you can find out what they've been doing lately, or discuss a topic that concerns both of you. Right now, you're blessed with plenty of diplomacy so the conversation should go well.
