My wife was driving my 05 Xterra 2WD 6cyl and the driev shaft fell off. Took the rear mount and all off. see links below for pictures, anyone know why this would happen or what to replace?>

I also have a 2005 4X2 Xterra, 6cyl. and yesterday when I was heading to work, the drive shaft fell off as soon as I came to a stop at an intersection. I'm currently trying to find out if there are any recalls on this.

Same model as mine! And yes, it fell off at stop sign! No recall news about this. Mine is still parked at work, still making payments and still no answer from Nissan. Nissan also states that they do not sell the rear differential, just the entire axle!
How many miles do you have on yours? |
