My Xterra is new with only 650 miles on it. the tire pressure monitoring indicator light is lit solid on my dash but the tire pressures check out fine. Has anyone else had this problem? Help Please.
Thanks!!

Did you change the rims? The sensors are in the valve stems, my winter rims do have it & the light is on all winter long, then goes out when I change back.

the spare might have a sensor on it too.

My 4runner had the same thing, indicator light always on. It turned out to be the spare.

I had the same thing happen. My dealer says the monitoring system is extremely sensitive, and will set off the warning indicator if pressure drops only a small amount -- too little to notice on the average tire guage.
