after reading this column for so long I still wonder why people give a down payment and expect a job to get done correctly, on time, professionally and without hassle. I tell contractors..."you get paid when the job is done RIGHT". If they are worth good and honest they have no problem with that.

Ahh, the ill informed consumer. The kind of people the contractors laugh at when they are out of the room. Why would you return a 3 mo old car. And why would the warranty transfer from a Nissan to a Toyota?
