2000 Nissan Sentra - CEL On, Code says bad O2 sensor, car shutting off

I have a 2000 Nissan Sentra, 130K+ miles. The check engine light is on, has been for some time. Took it into Advanced Auto, scan showed bad O2 in bank 1 and 2. Car recently started shutting off at idle. At first it would only do it if I was sitting in Drive or Reverse for a long period of time. It is getting more frequent now. Could bad O2 sensors cause this? Also, any thoughts on the difficulty of replacing these?

I'm having the same issues, and from what I gather it could very well be the O2 sensor. The shield on my cat converter fell off right before the problem started so i'm wondering if my wires have been cut or damaged by road debrish shortly after that. I plan to check tonight and will try to remember to post back the results.
