This is great and really impressive if the charging can be done by the car itself instead of stoppring into a charing stattion.
CAR CHARGES ITS OWN BATTERIES IS A BETTER SOLUTION TO THIS OIL CRISIS.

That is great news. Electric cars are the way to the future. Oil is so yesterday. I hope gas goes to $10 a gallon, maybe America will wake up. I wish the best for the mini.

I agree with Webguy7 and Rob regarding Electric cars as the way to go. I also have the same questions as Willie from Denver about how it's recharged. Also, what is the farthest it has gone on a single charge? Would I be able to make a trip to Las Vegas without having to stop and charge at a charging station?

Would love to own a mini that runs on batteries. The problem is living in California, I need a longer range with a quicker charging time! Keep up the good work!!!!

Why can't EV cars be more mainstream? I'd love to own one right now, but there are no options I can find to easily get one.

As for wishing for higher gas prices, be careful what you wish for The higher gas goes, the more expensive your food gets, and services overall since most transport is still by vehicles that use gas.

Cheers,

I think they said it was 100 miles per charge or so. Okay for a daily commute to work or around town. Long trips are problematic.
