Recycled SUV's aren't enough to help Ford rescue itself from catastrophic losses. Another hit like the Fusion, Edge and Mustang are needed ASAP.

One might trace where Ford's advertising is being aimed.... just a thought.

"Fords action is a positive outcome and win for equality and fairness," said Human Rights Campaign President Joe Solmonese. "Ford has sent a powerful signal that corporate America values its gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender employees and consumers."

The new Escape is ugly, what were they thinking?!?!? Why would anyone want to buy it, it will scare the children. That front grille is obnoxious. Ford needs to learn that you can't just strap on some crome to sell a car ex: Navigator, FiveHundred, Fusion, Edge.

Speaking of front grilles, the 2001 Jaguar S-Type 4.0
has the lines of a 1940's Union Station style urinal.
I also saw a newer Subaru grille that left me wondering why.
My favourite grille of all time is probably on a 1955 Buick Special, perfect form and function in chrome. Annette Funicello comes to mind,(sorry about the Freudian allusion.)

Perhaps you should get out your stones and use biblical justice on such people? I suppose that such people have some nerve assuming they are on the same level of humanity as yourself and all who agree with you?

Precisely.
My point is why aim at a minority of the populace and neglect the majority? This appears to be financial lunacy.
I have been in deep study of Edward Gibbon's volumes of The Rise and Fall of The Roman Empire, and I am truly stunned by what I see mirrored in the United States society as of this date. I'm glad I lived when I did and that my memories are still with me. As a side note I can't wait to get back home to my beloved Claycomo, flawed as it may be, and sit down to a plate full of cheese and onion enchiladas at Larry and Matt's place. Life is still good and if you want to find problems and dwell in negativity, then your search will not be a struggle.
May you and all my fellow Claycomo Forum correspondents have a prosperous, joyful and loving 2008.
Shalom
