I sincerely hope that Mercedes will resurrect the in-line iron-block 6-cyl diesel. I hate the new V-6 diesel because its 90-degree configuration makes it inherently out of balance.

Mercedes-Benz regional vice-president just told us in today's meeting that MB will be bringing the C-Class diesel. There are no links to confirm this, but I am a MB rep.

not sure how this came to be classified as a 4matic, that is not what I understood, merely that a diesel version of the C would be available at some point
