We can and we must a citizens get our elected to act and curb the tax and spend. Property taxes are the most unfair and unjust tax of all. We are going into a recession if not already in one. Only the taxes will remain he same or higher on property as real value fall. Every time a house goes to tax sale it hurts everyone. Depresses real estate, no more taxes paid, no water bill, eltectric paid, no paper delivery, etc. All see a decline in economy. When you kill the dream of having and really owning a home you have killed every job in the economy. Our banks are failing us, CITI is unable to barrow funds over seas they have reached the limit. Our government has admitted to taking 150 billion too much they are going to give back. It will be to lillte to late. Our local rebates frm o to who knows what cost more to mail back then the just giving credit. We are in short in a mess and current eleted play party games.

register and vote, better yet run for office, common pepole make common sense decisions. You do not spend more then you have.

Quite the busy bee, you are Carl. With your hundreds of posts, you must have quite a bit of free time. All that I ask, is that you try to post with original thoughts and sentences. Many of your cut-n-paste posts, start to get old, and their entertainment factor fades.

WELL:
I do have an advantage as I have retired several times. I feel very strongly about the property taxes being unfair to all and they remove the right to own real wealth. That to me is wrong!

I also believe sales tax is the best way to go as all pay and same percent. Citizens can control when they spend and were to purchase. Class division is not good, rich or poor all are citizens and all should be taxes the same. Rich pay more if they earn more income, same if they buy more items with sales tax. Who knows how rich a person is if you do not know what they need to pay out? At what level do they become rich and how many others did they help by becoming rich?
To mamy loopholes in the current tax laws. If the land has to be taxed I think it would be fair to do it when it is sold and real value known.

I also feel most entitlements are not right. It is not the government place to take tax dollars and give them others who are not productive. A helping hand is one thing to enable a life style is not right.

I also find that citizens given good information can make common sense decisions that help our nation.

last but not least I am not a good typist and no spell check working on these posts. Guess that is why I always had a good office secretary to bail me out.

Thanks for your insight I cut an paste for the above reasons and sorry if they get old.

Trust you are a register voter and will be at the polls on election day.
