If it is that important to vote, why do we need additional time to get ID to be able to vote? The people that feel that voting is important would already have the needed ID to vote.

It is a state law that they have to be open for people to get those IDs.

Even with this well-timed effort to assist the so-called minority voter who is so adversely affected by voter ID laws, there will still be liberal whining about how awful it is to have to actually obtain and carry proper ID. If these poor voters gave half as much effort to evaluating who they are voting for (EX. monroe gray) as they do crying about ID, they would have much better representation. The state has the duty to enforce voter laws, and if it too hard to do something this simple for your right to vote then don't. You don't deserve it.

Huh??? What about people who are just turning 18 or people who have just moved to Indiana and have no driver's license? They don't already have a state ID!

But don't you have to be registered in order to vote? And don't you have to complete said registration some period of time BEFORE the election for it to be valid?

Anyone just moving into the state on Monday or just turning 18 on Monday isn't going to be registered to vote & thus won't need to go to the BMV at the last minute to get ID to vote 'coz they can't anyway.

And if you've been living here for a while & haven't yet figured out that you need ID to vote then I'm not sure you're competent to even be casting a ballot in the 1st place......
