Mazda to suspend SUV Production

There seems to be lots of confusion about whether Mazda will have a 2007 non-hybrid Tribute. One Mazda dealership told me that the model was discontinued for 2007 and would resume in 2008. Another showed me an ordering screen with colors for buying the 2007 model, but he could not tell me where the vehicle would be built.
I suspect Mazda is de-emphasising the Tribute so it will not compete with their new CX-7 model. |

Thank God!! I bought a 2005 Mazda Tribute and it has been in the shop for over 40 days total. It is the biggest piece of junk that I have ever purchased. Mazda should stop making all vehicles!

I have a 2002 Tribute and love it. I also know 4 other people with Tributes that have not had any problems either. Sorry for your luck Kirk, but you just got a bad one...

I have a 2002 Tribute and love it. I know several people who own Ford Escapes (same vehicle) and they all love their cars. I was planning on continuing with another Tribute, perhaps in 2008. I hope the model isn't discontinued!

I have an 02 Tribute, I love it! never had a problem out of it. The ONLY thing i hate is the gas mileage. it is a small SUV and it gets the gas mileage of a truck.
I live in eastern KY in between many hills. I have estimated my tribute is gettin 12.7 miles per gallon. it cost me about 40 dollars to fill up. but it only last about 4 days just doing basic driving. a 2008 hybrid would be nice, i'm not a fan of the escape compared to the tribute, escape look kind of cheap in comparason but a hybrid tribute would be superb! |

I have a 2005 Tribute in the shop right now. Thing just died on me while driving home the other night. Its only 2 years old but has 56000 miles on it. I never had a problem but now it looks like it will cost me over $4000 dollars to fix. Id only get $7000 if I traded it in. Worst mistake of my life buying this car. Im sure the dealership will screw me and not offer me any type of deal.
