A second High School is needed by 2012, so the planning should begin sooner than later.

A second high school is inevitable. When will the school district acquire the land for such a building? Land in Hamilton County is not getting any cheaper...

While I agree with both Hazel Dell and Noblesville, I would suggest you read both the comments posted with the other property tax articles, and maybe the proposed property tax legislation itself. Building schools in the future will not be based on need or on the ability to acquire land when it is affordable. It will be based on the maturity, and intellect of the citizens and their level of desire to have their community grow and prosper, not to mention how they feel about quality education for the children that live in the district. For the sake of those children, I hope the majority of the citizens of Noblesville are more like Hazel Dell and Noblesville Dad and not like the majority of the folks posting on these sites when property taxes are the topic.
