I bought a 2006 Maserati Quattroporte in October, 2005. I now have 7500 miles on the car. While I have had irritating small problems, there is one major issue for which I have not found an answer. I don't know if it is endemic to the car/model or just to my vehicle, and I would love to get some feedback from other owners.

To whit: I have a strong sense of instability in the back end of the car. It feels as if the car sways when it goes over rough road. It's almost as if it is rocking back and forth. A possible symptom is that I had to replace the rear tires at 4,500 miles as they were worn to the warning mark. I have had the car realigned twice and only the last time was the alignment out 12 millimeters (I believe that was the measurement). Although realigned by the dealer, I still get the same sensation, and people who ride in the rear seat complain bitterly about the sensation.

Has anyone else encountered this problem? Please le me hear from anyone who might have a solution.
