I just had the Back drop thank god still under warranty, I also had a 2004 and the whole front dropped both cars were under warranty, Seem to be a problem with most of these Navigators, Happened after 2 1/2 yrs on both and around 30,000 miles

With all the stuff in the air ride that could go wrong, if your under warranty its great! If you have to replace all of that yourself you could be looking at a lot of money. Try Strutmasters for their conversion kits! I bought one for my moms Navigator and she loves it better than the air ride!
They save you money and time too.
