2000 lincoln ls 106k, the check engine light is on and it wont go away.. i change the gas cap and been running premium gas but it is still there..

It called a window regulator. About 80 bucks online. Ot that hard a fix if you know how t take door apart.
Did it on my 2000 ls. MIne has 330,000 miles and still running.

i have a 2000 ls n having problem with the starting.i started the car it made a noise like if the car was all ready on. I shut it off n went to re started but it made a click noise, the lights wend deem like the battery was dead. I tested the battery n was at 13.2 bolts. M thinking is the starer, has any one had this problem before. please i need help.

i have 2005 lincoln ls it stalls when im driving short as it may be im scsared ive had ciols replaced etc it feels like and old vaccum lock nayhelp would b cool

I replaced the fuel pump/filter(not cheap) 6 months ago on 2000 Ls V8. I ve owned it since 2002, it just hit 200,000 miles... hubby drove it last week to work stopped on way put $10 of 86 grde gas in,I never put this grde in it.ON way home it started cutting out & dying, stopped & put $20 in 91 grde...from same store..had it towed home after another mile or so. what can i do to check to see if it was bad gas, before i have to take to the dealership...also,i started it/condensation coming out of tailpipe.please any advice on this.thanks..

You are activating the cars option called "global windows" You are pressing and holding the unlock button on your remote for 5 seconds or more. Try it and see. FYI you can't global "up" the windows and sunroof ,only open. Stop sitting on your remote or hitting it.

You should have filled it with 93 octane to help bring up the 86 octane. Try to run the car see how she goes.Don't put car under high loads at first. The sensors will know if you still have low octane gas in there. Condensation comes out of all cars tails.

Don't worry about it, just drive her and have fun. If something does go wrong just google it and find out that the problem is. Not that pricey as some peeps on here say. They are getting ripped off most of the time. We have driven our 2000 V6 for 2 years now with only an upper rad hose leaking. The V6 engine is way more reliable then the v8. Goodluck.

My Lincoln ls 2000 has water in the trunk sometimes, I keep draining it and it gets again after couple rainy days, thing is when I open everything around the trunk seal is dry, So there is no way the water gets in from outside, it must be something from inside the trunk, but I am not sure from where. Dealer would probably say screw this and change the entire trunk seal lol, because they always go for easy money and ignore the time trying to look for particular problems. If this problem is on Ls models means that theres only one area where it would be leaking the water and not sure which one. thanks

Trunk seal is a common problem for LS's. Mine leaks also. All I did was drill a small 1/4 dia hole in the lowest part of the spare tire well to drain the water. Small enough to not let mice in but let water out.

Frank ,I have the same leak on my LS also.I think it my be around the rear window.I can not see a water streak mark anywhere?Like you said drill a small whole.LOL

i recently purchased a 04 ls with the 3.9 v8. i knew that LS has had ig coil problems. but i have a strange one. my controls on the climate control deck, are extremely hard to press, especially when it its cold outside. sometimes so hard to press that when i do press a button, nothing happens, it makes a snap sound with no results of what i wanted to do? i have been going through this forum, but haven't seen anyone else with this problem. any suggestions?

I have a 2002 lincoln ls v8, big mistake ever buying it. Coils go out just by taking it through the car wash, it took going through the car wash 3 times to figure it out. The transmission has been replaced, the car sputters and engine reduces power, there is always a burning electrical smell, the car now smells like gas INSIDE the car, not sure what that is, the drivers side air bag light is on apparently due to a wire under the drivers seat ($200) to fix.
I regret the day I bought this car, if I didn't still owe the bank $8000 on it, I would of junked it by now. It is so expensive to fix anything on this car. Now I have to figure out why it smells like gas inside the car and how much that is going to cost to fix. I hate this car, anyone want to buy a 2002 lincoln?$8000, it looks real nice, you just can't drive it.

i replaced my water pump and that solved the same problem on my ls also do a radiator flush before you put the new pump on

My airbag light came on after i hit a pot hole it stayed on a while now it has gone off and now it dings every twenty minutes approx 12 times how do stop this and is this caused by the clock spring

I have a 2001 Lincoln LS, it has been in the shop 3 or 4 times in the past 3 months, it is having a hard time starting. It let me drive to work one day, then I had to be jumped off on my lunch break and when I got off work. I didn't try and crank it until about 5:00 in the afternoon the next day and it cranked right up, but Saturday morning it wouldn't crank again. It does this thing, lights flashing and ticking noise when it wont crank. Any suggestions?
