My 2006 Lincoln LS self accelerated and hit the tree I was parked in front of. The dealer Liccardi Auto Group located in 130 Rt 22 West, GreenBrook, NJ is where I bought this lemon. I'm fighting to get my money back or trade it in for a different car.

i recently bought a LS at 65,000 miles. Ever since ive had it i will walk up to it at a random point during the day and the trunk and hood will be popped, weird huh? The panic will go off all on its own from time to time. And the windows will roll down on their own, when the car is off. I think my car is haunted.... no one else has had my keys.. someone tell me im not crazy.

I have a 2001 LS and the check engine light is on. for me thats not a big suprise. over the last few months ive put almost three thousand dollars into getting that light to go off. i have gotten to fix a few things that had gone wrong but now my mechanic tells me that the light is for my emissions control. he checked the actual emissions and they are fine but then found out that the emission censoris set too sensitive and it would have to be shipped out of the country to get that fixed. im trying to sell it and i need a quick fix. PLEASE HELP! Anyone.

I've had those same problems and its not just you, My panic goes off once and a whil. when I pop my trunk while the doors are locked the panic will go off when I close the trunk. Its like the car is thinking I'm breaking into it or something.

My 2000 Linclon LS has been acting as though it has overheated. When I pull over for 3-5 minutes, the indicator light goes off and then the car resumes as usual. It is real nerve wrecking and I don't know what to do. When I'm in route the temp gauge slowly goes up and I turn on the heat and it brings it back normal.
I am afraid that it will too expensive if I take it to the dealership. ANY SUGGESTIONS????

Blead the air out of the cooling system. contact the dealer for instructions.

Can some one tell me how I can get the code to my 2005 LS for the door? I looked on the trunk arm and it is not there...

My 2001 transmission warning comes on. My mechanic says that it is reporting error codes 734, 735, and 795.

Since the warning came on, it seems not to get into 4th and 5th gear.

Any ideas?

Louis, I also have a 2001 LSV8 with the exact error. Tranny guy says it could be a PCC solenoid?, but thinks it may take a few hours to diagnose. I will probably just take it to my local dealer for diagnosis. If you get any further info, please reply.

my light transmission warning also went off, same 4-5 issue and same error codes.

I too have a 2001 LS and I have been experiencing the same problem. I was told it was the fuel injectors. I had two injectors replaced and the engine light went out for about two weeks. No one has told me about it being related to an emissions problem. I like the car but I have spent thousands trying to fix it, so I have to sell it.

Try running the highest grade of Exxon gas and do not allow it to go below 75miles to empty

i have a 1997 contennal ,if the car is shut off for more than afew hours, its very hard to start, something you can smell gas, some light back firing,
the dealer could not find the problem

I had the solenoid pack replaced, failed again after 500kms. I am told that it is the valve body, Ford had to order it, it will be installed this week. They will credit me for the solenoid pack. I'll let you know if all is ok.

The control to disable either Traction Control or AdvanceTrac is on the center console. If it has a little picture of a spinning tire on it, you have Traction Control. If it has a picture of a sliding car, then you have AdvanceTrac. Also, you can press the Status button and wait until the last displayed item: it should say "Advancetrac OK" if you have it.

What did you do to fix it? Mine is doing the same thing...they said it was the solenoid?
