Just like everyone else I have a 2001 Lincoln LS
I bought it 2004 with 26,000 miles. great ride,looks
like a dream, but its a straight up piece of shitt!!!! Lincoln should have their asses whipped for putting this rag on the market. I replaced coils, a transmission, ball joints, rear window regulators, inside driver door handle etc etc. this
car is a complete joke, I'm scared to go in the garage and look at it too long the damn tires might fall off.. when you call for some kind of assistance or help the Lincoln customer service act like they don't know who you are or what you want but they knew who the hell I was when I first walked into the showroom!! PLEASE WHOMEVER READS THIS PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF DON'T BUY LINCOLN THEY ARE ALL FRAUDS!!!!!!!

I purchased my 2001 ls in 2003 because I though it was nice and pretty. It has turned out to be a piece of shit.Nothing but a money pit that keeps getting deeper. I have replaced all the coils, the horn doesn't work, Brake lamps has to be changed every time it rains hard, and now I am having problems with the motor.I just knew I could ride car note free for at least 1-2 years. All lincoln ls owners get rid of that piece of shit.

I have owned 3 town cars (92,95,97)...no problems with reliability/quality. Now the LS (Lincolon Sucks)...appears to be a quality/reliability issue since the year 2000....
I was about to purchase an LS for my son....but I am glad I have read this feedback from Lincoln owners. Now I have to understand the market for town cars are adults that usually don't drive the cars hard. For LS, however, it appears to be a sports cars for the rich kids...thus you have to be a motor head to ensure you can do the work yourself (to cut costs). With common faults/failures, this appears to be down fall with Lincoln.
Bummer....

OMG, first of all. Micheal from Atlanta is hilarious. I was at the dealership to buy this car and the only reason that I do not have it yet was the financing. I told the dealer that if he sells before I get the money that it just wasn't meant for me. That was the best outlook ever. I actually gave myself time to research and after reading this advice, I would be an absolute idiot to purchase an LS of any year. Thanks to those of you who have the desire to speak out and save the other most vulnerable ones such as myself. Thank you!!!

I have an '03 Lincoln Ls V8. This has to be the worst vehicle ever built. I have many problems with it. The passenger window motor was replaced, the back seat won't open properly, the inside roof is coming apart, and now it needs a throttle body. The car has a great exterior/interior look but underneath is a total different tiger. I would strongly recommend anyone wishing to purchase this vehicle look elsewhere. I now realize why this vehicle is no longer crossing the assembly line.

I own a 04 v6 LS I had it for a year now, bought it with 71000 mi. Iv replaced 4 coil packs and a passenger window. I just got my throttle body replaced, and its still not driving and braking like it suppose to. The light came back on, and my back driverside window wont let down. There's not too many cars on the road that can keep up with it when its running right! But its all in getting it to run right!

01 LSV8, 105,000 miles

The DEW-98 ford platform is an outstandingly designed but poorly executed plan for a car. The Thunderbird, Jaguar S-type, lincoln LS, and now the Jaguar XF share this platform. All of the problems like crappy window motors and dud ignition coils are the weak parts of these cars. The transmission difficulties are surprising but thats what they get when they put a crappy transmission first used on a van with less than 175 horsepower, so the 200-almost 300 that the various Lincoln LS was equipped with is just too much to handle. The handling of all of these cars is amazing and lincoln will never make a car to rival the ls ever again. You have to keep and fix you lincoln ls no matter what the cost it is an icon of motoring. Lincoln and ford in general has lost all hope with this "eco-boost" crap. Grandma doesn't need a twin-turbo in her taurus.

I have had my 2002 LS v8 for a little over a year now. I have had to replace the clockspring in the steering wheel $150 and also the airbag wiring harness under the seat $100. I have replaced coils 2, 3, & 7 so far at $200 each. I wish I never bought this car! One of the worst mistakes of my whole entire life. Can't wait to find someone to buy it. It looks beautiful but costs way too much money to maintain. Not to mention the synthetic oil changes for $80 and the premium only gas requirement.
Try Costco...pay half the price

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Aquarius

You're in a tricky position because someone who is supposed to know what they're talking about seems to be spouting complete nonsense instead. If this is an older friend or relative then you can simply smile politely and wait for them to rejoin the rest of us on Planet Earth. But if it's a boss or bureaucrat who's talking rubbish or giving you some puzzling orders, you'll be in a quandary about what to do.
