Long tme ago when I was working in Europe I had the privelige of owning a Porsche 911 Turbo!!
My advice:- Don't do it. This vehicle was very fast and very noisey. The servicing bills were in the stratosphere, and I had all sorts of problems with it. Once I raced it in the Fatherland against a Police BMW 7 series on the track of course, but the BMW ran with it tp 180 mph and the 911 just made 185!! So I said to my self WHY??? Then I sold it!!! |

A long time ago???? I am wondering if you owned a 80's car. The 996 turbo has come a long way. I have had mine for a few year - about ever 1K - 3K miles it burns a quart of oil. The tires last for 20K maybe 30K if you easy. Its a great car - it works like any other car - and like anything you have to know a little something. So i suggest hit the local book store and do a little reading. Cost on the car is about 20% higher then anything your driving now - but now as much as a BMW.
