i have a land rover freelnder it has just done 104,324 kms it has been serviced through land rover every 10,000 km. it has just blown a timming chain which has also caused engine damage. It is going to cost 8,000 dollars and needs a full engine rebuild the top and bottom. This is dissapointing as i am due to have a baby in two months time and can not afford to fix the car as yet and also the car has been very well looked after. I am after some informaton on the manufactoring faults of this model the freelander xei wagon 98 model. Please help me if you can.
