'Cash for Clunkers' program: government cash for your vehicle

Just wondering.....I have a 94 Geo Metro, definitely a clunker but still runs fairly well. Going down the list I see that the cars that qualify have to have a Gas mileage of 18 or less, I know the metro gets at least 30 mpg. Does this exclude my car?

Cash for Clunkers? What a sham! How can anyone afford a new car if this economy such great shape where the hell are all the jobs and the monies to help pay for the new car? HMMM Must be part of the bailout plan too!!! When will I receive my quarterly investment checks for my part that my taxes, that helped out in all these bail outs? Still waiting for that first investment check to come in the mail!!!!
