This may not be where my comment belongs, but here it goes. I just purchased a 2006 NEW Kia Sportage. It came with a luggage rack. When I began driving over 40 miles per hour a loud wind whistling noice began. It sounded like it was coming from the roof. I took it back to the dealer who told me it was in the rack. If they placed the bars together it would stop. If they put them in the position they were designed to be in the noice would come back. I haven't heard any answers to this except for to drive it with the bars on the rack together which takes away from the cars appearance???????
