Service car right away if it makes weird noise

Hi Doc,
I have an 88 BMW 325i convertible. It's got a pretty steady power steering leak. I fill the reservoir every couple of days. I'm saving up to get the rack and pinion replaced but ams still driving it. Am I doing irrepairable damage by driving it? I do top it off any time it starts to squeal.

hi doctor, i have a 96 dodge neon 2doors.
i have this strange whining noise and looks like it is coming from the power steering pump. the noise does not appear when the car is cold only when i drive the car for 20mins. it make noise when i turn left & right and it also make noise when i go straight.
i already check & see if there are fluid on the powersteering resevoir and it still has. but it looks like its dirty. do u think i just need to flush the old fluid out or this noise is a sign of a big job to do.?
