For the last several months, I've been receiving these automated calls, each time, pressing the button that supposedly takes you off the call list. Finally, a couple of weeks ago I got fed up enough to press the other option to speak to a service representative. After a couple of clicks (call transfer?) Jason answered and immediately asked for my make, model and year. I responded by asking him who I was speaking to. He repeated his question, and I repeated mine. He then proceed to hang up. Haven't received a call in two weeks now. Hope my strategy worked since you cannot trace the phone number appearing on caller id, so it's impossible to file a formal complaint.

My co-workers and I have written letters to the Attorney General about the number of calls we are all getting at work and at home from Car Warranty companies, Mortgage Help Companies and Credit Card Dept companies. At this point becuase the calls are so often and annoying we have made scripts to have a little fun with the people. Like for example usng the words from the song "Love Shack" when asked about our house, or answering completely obsurd answers about our cars in very serious voices..."Year Model and Make... Ford, Model T, 1908." Of course they hang the phone up right away, but not before we get a good laugh at their expense. Funny enough...since the last call we had here at work a few days ago...they haven't called back yet! Too bad...we were getting a pretty good laugh every afternoon.

Nick I agree, it is very annoying, the calls began at home, work and the other day I was at the grocery store and they called my cell phone. I have searched for an email address, a phone number to contact them since they hang up after you press 2 to get taken off their list.

in my experience, extended warranties are the only form of insurance that pays for itself over and over again, it pays alot more than my collision insurance ever did, but thats the law, what a scam that is, the government is fooling you people again
