Apparently, this "death wobble" is pretty common. I have a 03 Wrangler Sahara. Does anyone know definitively what is causing this? I read all the posts but couldn't discern a clear diagnosis. My death wobble occurs religously at 55mph whether accelerating or decelerating. If anyone knows, please email me at jason_akin@suddenlink.net. Thanks

I had my 2008 Wrangler towed to dealer at 1178 miles, for a remote start module going bad. I was backing my camper up and the engine started running rough and quit. The dealer replaced the module, but the jeep wouldn't turn off after the IGN switch was place in the ACC position. Took it back to the dealer and after several days they (dealer) replaced the PCM (power control module). Five days after the replacement of the PCM the engine quit and it is still at the dealer. They cannot diagnoses the problem and blame it on me for installing a 7 way-trailer tow harness that I bought from them (dealer) that was a certified OEM Jeep MOPAR part that came from the factory.

I have a 2007 Unlimited and I have the front end shake problem as well. Particularly when on a slight turn, e.g. a highway entry or exit ramp, a small bump starts a violent shaking in one front tire. I have to brake almost to a stop to get the front end to stop shaking. Also check for broken components, etc. but nothing is out of the ordinary. Can resume travel with no other issues - until the next time. Has happened four times.

Our Jeep suddenly vibrates violently at highway speeds with no warning. Took it in numerous time and they keep replacing the rotors. They can't duplicate the problem, and are unwilling to take the Jeep back. I am taking them to Florida Lemon Law Arbitration. This vehicle is unsafe and dangerous.
I just moved to FL and am having issues with the dealership here on my 4 door b/c around 40 to 50 mph it begins to vibrate... and they cant duplicate the promblem so I made them ride with me driving and said see there it is and ohh there it is again and then suddenly they feel it but cant figure out why it does it.

Hey folks, just a quick note to anyone interested. I leased a new 07 Sahara in Feb. of that year and it was returned 8 months later due to leaking issues from the hard top. The vehicle qualified for LEMON LAW. I reside in NYC, and you can easily check the internet for L.L requirements. It was really a very simple process. I must say that I love the Jeep Wrangler, and after I received all of my payments back, went and purchased a Honda CRV 08....after 3 months of driving it, I gave it to my wife, and now looking to get the 4dr Unlimited Wrangler..am I crazy????? I just love the Jeep

I just purchased a 2008 Jeep Wrangler X less than 2 months ago and had the ignition to lock up on me. Hours later, since I could not lock the vehicle or take the key out, the Jeep was stolen in Garland, Texas. I purchased the hard top with an alarm to lessen the risk of theft. Unbelievable. Anyone else?

I had the same ignition switch problem with my 2008 Jeep Wrangler. The ignition would not go to off or acc. I could not lock the vehicle and it was stolen on Saturday night in Garland.

If anyone else has or has had that problem please email me at janie_mcconnell@yahoo.com

I have a 2004 Jeep Wrangler X and it shakes violently at 52mph, sometimes to the point of almost losing control of the car. I took it in for a front-end alignment today and they said I needed a new sway bar link and new front end bushings--total cost $570. I've read now online that other people have had these same repairs done and it didn't solve it. Not sure, but I feel your pain.
