TNAPWife wrote: Great news about the call backs!! Wish that 28 and out was more like 25 and out, but happy for those that the situation applies to. Glad to see how the 6-10's will be done. Definately a win-win as the letter stated! Have you heard that they will be offering 28 and out,cuz you know how rumors fly around TNAP, I have 83 and am ready to go, dont tease me like that girl.

TNAP going to 6 10s, starting after Labor Day,saturdays will be 2 on 1 off,at 9 or 10hrs,this will go on until x-mass vacation, they say we are behind 3845 units, also they miscalculated the Nitro build, and units lost because of the storm 2wks ago.

..I posted story this morning (thanks Charles for posting under buyouts...) about possible buyouts for GM. States Chrysler is not. I've heard all of this as part of the rumor mill... As well as hearing something about our plants in Toledo being the oldest workforce in the corporation... target buyout to us... blah, blah, blah....Nothing to do with contract talks though. Maybe after??? Regardless, all RUMOR, but I sure received confirming news last year during the annual open house about the expansion, SO... if I hear anything solid about a buyout for Toledo I will post. In the end, don't believe anything unless in official writing by both company and union.

..my guess Jeeper83 is that they've lined up either secondary suppliers that are running product for you, or the main supplier is attempting to help in some way. Either - or - an exact ship date is probably hard to promise. Most of the textiles I've dealt with always originated from down south, either PA, AL, or NC. I'm sure there are more in the country, but I do know the bulk come out of the east coast.
Hubby took the 4 day weekend that was encouraged by the robocaller to take. Thanks for posting about the Sunday 5pm... :) Have a great weekend!!
