One morning when I went out to start my jeep, it would turn over but would not fire. I noticed that as I turned the ignition forward but not over I could not hear the fuel pump engage. I replaced the fuel pump, but still have the SAME EXACT PROBLEM!!! When I hooked up the scanner, i received a message " not able to connect/link to vehicle. It said "check connection to data link connector and make sure key is turned forward then scan again." I checked all and found it was all connected and the key was in the right position and scanned again to see the SAME MESSAGE. Does anyone have any idea from best to worst case what the problem could be? Any and every possible fix or even ideas of whats causing this will be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you all very much...PLEASE HELP!!!
