KIA {Killed In Action} What a piece of SHIT.

I am 60 and do not speed or abuse new cars and have had about 20 or more in my life. I bought a top of the line Sportage {leather seats and all} for the wife which she hardly ever drove. It left her stranded 2 times in an intersection and I once on the way to work. Each time it was towed back to the dealership for another two days of inconvenience to mechanics {lol} without a clue on how to fix it. You would be waiting at a stop light and it would overheat with no power to get out of its own way, almost got my wife killed when she hit the gas on a left turn in front of a truck and NOTHING power wise.

The car cost about 19 grand and less than a year later, with under 8,000 miles I had to dump it for something safer and more dependable. I lost $8,000 on the deal because when tried to trade it in the piece of crap boiled over in the Toyota parking lot as I was negotiating a deal on a new Rav 4.

Buyer Beware on this company they also never bothered to respond to any complaint that or concern at any time that I had so customer service should be considered as totally non-existent.

Wow thats too bad , I thought they were building some decent cars now ,the Car and Driver reviews are always pretty good . I had a 96 Toyota Rav 4 .I got it with 130,000 miles I did the timing belt and other maintenance and drove it another 100,000 miles now it was smoking when you first started it up for about 15 seconds but the air was freezing cold and it never stopped running.I sold it for what I paid for it!good luck with your new rav 4.Im sure you will love it

The RAV 4 was a great car for 4 years with not one problem -- not one -- except for the minor little driving error on my part that totaled it:)

Now I am looking at Honda CRV's -- seems like a great time to get a good deal.

I have put over 100K on my 2003 Sorento EX doing nothing more than changing the oil every 10K and replacing tires once. It runs like a clock. I have towed with it and put kayaks on the roof regularly. Best car I ever owned.

We have 2 Kias, an 1996 & 2007 Spectra. Great cars that we love to drive. Well, my husband's favorite is his 1984 El Camino but the gas mileage is bad.

the 2007 Spectra has comparatively better efficiency i suppose.
