How do you reset the "Change Oil" Warning

I had the oil changed at a local shop but they did not reset the "CHANGE OIL" warning. Is this something I can do?

I am having this problem too, I have looked everywhere to see how I can reset it but I have had no luck

I just got a 2010 Liberty Sport and the manual says this:
Resetting the light after servicing
Turn the ignition switch to the ON/RUN position (do not start engine)...
Fully depress the accelerator pedal three times within 10 seconds...
Turn the ignition switch to the OFF/LOCK position.

Worked for me! I had my oil changed last week. Followed those directions and it stopped reading "Change Oil".

had the same problem, after getting the oil changed the guy at the shop took off the negative cable off the battery for 20 minutes and then reconnected, no more light.

You have to actually change your oil as well, it has a sensor to make sure the oil is clean

Not so much a comment but a question! Have a transmission cooling line leaking at the pressure fitting. Any quick methods to sealing the leak without purchasing a complete cooling line set?

Did Not work for me neither, I followed the instruction on the manual and tried a dozen times and still could not reset the check oil light.

Called my dealership and they gave me the exact instructions. Worked like a charm on the first try.
