How can british cars actually be so bad? I like to watch the show "Top Gear" and the boys always say how "great" british cars are and how "horrid" or "crude" american cars are. Why? british cars are the ones that break when you just open the doors. Reliability ratings on those are horrible. Tell you the truth I dont find them that "luxurious" either. Range Rover vs Cadillac Escalade Platinum? Caddy all the way, in terms of reliability, build quality, strength, luxury, EVERYTHING!! What do the british have to compete with the SSC Ultimate Aero? NOTHING!!!

Are you f*ckin joking me? I've owned a Jaguar XK-E for over 20 years after buying it second hand and use it on a regular basis. Only twice have I had to have in repaired. During this time my wife has owned 4 cars, all of which are American, all of which have been extremely unreliable and poor mileage.
Personally I love British cars, they're absolutely beautiful and put our cars to shame, on both looks and speed.

British sports and luxury cars are pretty awesome, but the rest of the cars they have are piles of shit.
The guys at Top gear are just Nazis, but their statement about American cars being plastic is 100% true. Your ghey Cadillac Escalade just can't compare to that motherf*cking Mercedes ML/GL/any german car.
And the fags at GM still wonder why they fail gain any market share in Europe....

Lets talk facts.Firstly the Top Gear boys (who i do not particularly like)regularly praise american cars,in fact Clarkson has bought one.It is true they complain about the quality of the interiors being plastic. It is also true that many british cars of the 70s80s and 90s were poorly made, but things have changed. The current RangeRover and Jaguar products are more than a match for anything made in germany, indeed in many respects they are now superior to most of what is made in Munich and Stuttgart.

It sounds like it was a choice to own POS cars because you can not afford decent quality cars, I do not care if it is a Jag, Mercedes, BMW, and Volvo if you are driving it for more than 20 years plus and your other sets of vehicles are ford, chevy, and dodge it sounds like you are a wannabe who owns a name brand for the sake of it, to be able to say that you drive a Jag but it was pass down from your great grandfather..lol FYI Jaguar is a subsidiary of TATA motors (Indian) which is why Jaguars are now being a success again.
