Not The Car For These Times

Jaguar's reputation for luck - which is not to have any - continues with the 2009 Jaguar XF, the company's new and utterly pivotal midsize, V-8-powered sedan.

Isn't funny how when something good is happening to a company after 10 plus years of Ford messing it around there are always some motoring journalists waiting to put the bad word in!$57.000 for a V8!! Thats damn cheap, I have paid 57.000 Euros ($89.000) for a 3 litre XF where fuel here costs $11 a gallon!! I ordered mine XF in September 2007 without having seen it!! The S-Type was disaster simply because Ford engineers thought they knew better than Jaguar engineers so when finally they were let loose the car now ends up top of the executive class cars in JD Powers 2008!! Too late yes I know but just imagine what could have been! When Motoring Journalists start paying for their own cars then we might get some real sense out of them!!

The new XF SC beats all other sedans in its segment easily and beat the previous segment leader by nearly 10 points. Infiniti makes the best car in this class? You mean the M45? The car almost no one even knows exists and while it is a decent car I would not call it the best by far.
