I'm in the same boat as you in fact in more ways than one!!! But you don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out that we are probably not getting hired! I could never knock anyones blessings especially since I have been giving so many myself!!!! Sorry if you took that the wrong way!!! But when it's time to move on its time to move on!!!! Oan.... Thanks for wishing a physical event on me,,,,, I will try not wish that I get the job before you!!! BE BLESSED!

There not done yet by the way they still got a ways to go... My dad works for Hyundai and he is a part of the hiring process. He said that they are behind and people are Quito g everyday. He told me to look for a call this week or next week. So just be patient and pray. And the turnover rate is real high out there so just be on the look out

That job is such a blessing I just don't understand why a person would quit!! It makes me pure angry to hear that people are just giving up like that especially when people desperately need one!!! ALL NEW JOBS ARE DIFFICULT IN THE BEGINNING!!!!!! It's only because you are not familiar with what you are doing!!!! I hope everyone that has been waiting for so long get these jobs and show them how to really appreciate a true blessing!!!!

I wonder of the background check is the hold up... That sometimes may be a while. I figured they would've done the background check way before the hands on assessment and surely the drug screens and physical. That's a lot of money wasted if that's the last step

One of my freinds just got a call today and we did our physical on the same day so that just goes to show that what my dad is saying is correct.. And we did our physical on the 20th of June

@ Nicky... Haven't talked to him since, but know they had 405 or so still to hire. I forgot I ask about the background check, I'm thinking that may be everyone's reason for the slow down

@Guest: I am glad that things are going well for you. I have heard of about 35 people quitting also from a hyundai employee. What is your position/dept, if you don't ming me asking?

Sorry for taking so long to respond. This job is kicking my ass heh. I'm in the department called Trim, and they have us doing 3 to 4 different jobs.

As for everyone wondering about why people are quitting. It's because the job is hard is hell when you're new. Some one said that they took a tour and it looked easy. The people you saw have been doing those processes for 7 to 8, it's not that it's easy they're just really good at what they do.

The new guys probably didn't expect their entire body to be aching this bad lol. I personally don't plan on quitting, but I can see how an unprepared person could. Making cars isn't for everyone after all. So to all you guys waiting. Unless you're lucky enough to get into PDI, you better be prepared to work your ass off. Also be prepared to learn your jobs asap. You will not have a lot of time to get everything down, It's going to be hard so be ready for that.
