Hi, anyone have over 100,000 miles on their Odyssey?(and what model year is it?)

I noticed several local dealers have them around 90-100k miles at only about $9,000. Thought that if I could get another 100k out of it, it would be far cheaper to buy, so long as there's not a ton of maintenance issues? Help! Thanks

I have 145,000 on my 2001 Odyssey and she still runs like the day I bought her! I have had really no problems with it. Only routine maitenence. I am in such a pickle now because I want a new one but feel a challenge to see just how many miles I can get out of her!! Hope this helps!

Our 2000 Odessey has 121k miles. Runs great. Had problems with the door slider latch (recall), and the transmission (recall) slipping, and I had to replace the rear wiper motor $100. NO real other issues. We are good with routine maintenance. I am hoping for, and can see no reason not to get 240k+ miles. Also, no rust anywhere.

I have Odyssey EX-L 2005 with 202K miles on it. Biggest problem was a flat tire. No any problems so far. Oil change, tires and a car wash - that's all. That thing will last another 200K easy.

I have a 2002 with 97K and it runs great, looks like new. BUT check out the costs for the 105k maintenance, try to get the dealer to pay for whatever will be due soon. Timing belt, trans flush, and a bunch more will cost a bundle. Also mine probably needs new shocks/struts. Anyway, after this it will be good for another 100K. I bought mine last year with 65K on the odo at a good price and low financing, it gets 22 mpg and I love it. Still better than the many others minivans I bought new, but be prepared for scheduled maintenance costs.

I have a 2001 with almost 120K. The only major problem is transmission. I'm on the third one now. Fortunately, it's under the extended 100K warrenty so I didn't have to pay for them. Other than the new timing belt and water pump for the upcoming 120K maintenance, it may also need new struts/springs in front.

I also have a 2000 odessey and now I have problems with rear drivers side auto door slider latch & switch. I took to a honda dealer and he quoted me $585 to fix it. Any advise is appreciated.

I have the original 1995 Odyssey with 310,000 miles. Runs great. You do have to replace the timing belt every 100,000 miles. No other major fixes needed. Haven't had a car note on it for over 8 years now.

Mine has 123,000. Had to replace the engine just after I had the expensive timing belt service done. That cost me about 5,000. Now I have more issues. They just sold me a new catalytic converter which did not seem to solve the problem.

I'm not sure I would buy again. The doors have been a nightmare.

Thought I should get at least 150,000 without these kinds of issues

HI Andrie
I ahve just bought an Odyssey 2005 EXL for 10K and it has 130K miles. I am kind of scared of the high mileage. I am not sure if this Odyssey would last for another 4 to 5 years at least till 200K mileage with no major problems.

I am wondering what are any repairs or replacments have you had. Just to gime me an idea how much will shecost me \\

I have a 2000 Honda Odyssey and I brought it in 2012 with 135,000 miles on it. It still runs good and I haven't really had any mechanical issues with it except for routine maintenance like Oil, Tires and Brakes. I currently have 187,000 miles on it. I love it and I will never buy another American car again. I will only stick with Honda, Nissan or Toyota because they last longer.
