I HAVE A 2001 GOLDWING, BOUGHT IT USED, AND NOTICED THAT THE TRUNK LID WAS HARD TO GET LATCHED, UPON INVESTAGATING,(BY TAKING THE TRUNK LID LINER OUT), I SAW THE PLASTIC TITS WHERE THE LATCH MOUNTING SCREWS GO WERE ALL BROKEN OFF, I TRIED GORILLA GLUE ETC., NOTHING WILL HOLD, ANY FIXES SHORT OF BUYING A NEW LID? THANKS IN ADVANCE, APPRECIATE THE INFO.

I had the same problem. All the Titts were broken. I took the inner lid off, got some fat backing washers and just bolted the latching loops to my inner lid only. Works great. In fact, works better than before.
