2004 CRV. Wheel hub gets very hot.

I thought I had a brake problem.On checking,I found the disc and handbrake shoe's are free. There
is no rumble, which one could expect with wheel a bearing problem. What else could cause excessive heating of the rear/offside wheel hub ?
