Stopping by because they couldnt believe you could make a jeep that ugly. How sad is it when your VP of Design says...."it grows on you". Why would you create something the you can't like instantly, but yet have to hope it grows on you. They certainly screwed this ong up big time. How embarrassing.

Its a Jeep, not just another car. You don't want a vehicle that warrants such negative reaction from seeing it. You don't look at it and even say..."its not bad". That would be ok. But people don't even like it that much. To have a vehicle that you are going people will like one they see it in person is just horrible. Because so many people look online and will decide to not like because of how out looks. The future is not UGLY. The Cherokee makes the Pontiac Aztec look gorgeous.

It's not a bad looking vehicle, but with all things new, it'll take time to get used to. It does address a market that Chrysler previously overlooked, and that's the crossover vehicles. Crossovers are growing in popularity, replacing the minivan. I'll be proud to build those, and hope they sell like beer at a ballgame.

If the new Cherokee (tnap) cannibalizes sales of the Grand Cherokee (jnap) then yes bye bye c-shift at jnap. I just don't know why or how they could let that top row of lights out of the drafting room and into the assembly plant. smh. time will tell.

Cannibalize? Are you kidding me? If anything it helps the Grand Cherokee. This pile of ugly crap won't be mentioned in the same breath as the GC. Other than..."God i sure hope they don't make the GC as FUGLY as the Cherokee." Let's just hope this is not a sign of things to come with Chrysler. A design direction like this will bankrupt Chrysler in no time.

The workers are lucky to have the time off. I just think how absolutely stupid to pay them to not work. When there are 3 plants in their area that they could go and work. So many people work harder than i do. Why would anyone want to try to work the hardest? Work the job, don't let the job work you. Even at JNAP, you can have it easy.

You could be right. But only after a quick redesign due to the overwhelming negative reaction to a design that nobody now likes or will ever like.
