Spied: 2010 Honda Insight hybrid

Despite the popular belief that the Toyota Prius was the first hybrid vehicle sold in the Unites States, the Honda Insight actually holds that title.

I am delighted! I own an'04 Prius,paid for. Honda is brilliant to revive its Insight. I am not brand loyal and am holding out for a vehicle that gets 100 mpg before buying my next auto. At last Toyota may have some competition, which it is not getting from the much vocalized Volt, which has a long time to go and is cost prohibitive for the majority of us. GM is (sadly) paying for it's lack of insight, pun on purpose. Ford is dabbling in sensibility with its Escape. Will both now "wisen" up and smell the cappuccino? Hybrid technology is the best we have right now. I'd like to see it in a classic, sporty looking model. Honda has a winner on the way.

I am still driving my 2000 Honda Insight and am still getting 50mpg and still pass cars with ease on the freeway and beat everyone off the line at lights. So I really don't know what people are talking about when they talk down on hybrids, they rock! Oh, and much like Lola, I am also waiting for a 100mpg car or a fast electric car that's more affordable than the Tesla.
