I'm happy to hear this and will stand down being verbal about the car, due to restored jobs here in America...

Bravo for Ford and their many fine Products. May all the new hires get their 30 years with plenty of overtime. God Bless America!

Maybe the plant has an office or something where you could either go there or mail in your impressive resume.

This is excellent.

America needs all the jobs we can get. This is why our economy is so bad in the first place, is that we have lost millions of good jobs to cheap overseas labor.

The Fusion/MKZ is a great car and I will only buy one that is made in the USA.

We have to stand together and keep our country strong.

The chances of you getting hired in at Flat Rock Assembly are slim or none unless you have family or friends in Local 6000. Ford generally doesn't "hire off the street". They've already handed out referrals at Flat Rock, so unless you know someone in the plant or local union who can give you one, you are likely out of luck.
Michigan Assembly actually hired several hundred people through Michigan Works this past spring which which was very uncommon for Ford, but they did that for the tax breaks and I seriously doubt they'll do it again at FRAP
Also, notice the language, FRAP is adding1200 new jobs, not adding 1200 new hires. Most of the 1200 jobs filled will be existing full-time employees either coming back or transfering. After that temps already in the system will be given a shot at the job and then they'll bring in new hires.

Sorry, but you'd have a better chance at winning the lottery then gettiung hired in at FRAP. Going up to the admin building at FRAP will get you nowhere, they will not give you an application.
